LifeSiteNews.com post: – “POZNAN, POLAND, September 6, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A conference on the treatment of homosexuality has been denied use of facilities at a medical school in Poland, after the school had initially given approval for the event. The decision by the Medical School (UM) Foundation not to host the September 16 Reparative Therapy Conference, featuring psychologist Dr. Joseph Nicolosi of the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (NARTH), followed front-page criticism of the conference by leading Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza.” (more…)

An article by Peter Baklinski reveals the political reason for the emphasis with which gay activists have pushed anti-bullying legislation. Here is a short excerpt: – “In the early 90’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered (GLBT) activists in Massachusetts sought to indoctrinate school children with homosexual values. GLBT activist Kevin Jennings, who was later appointed by President Obama as the assistant deputy secretary of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools inside the Department of Education, masterminded the scheme of gay anti-bullying programs as a perfect inroad into the otherwise resistant classrooms of the nation.” (more…)

Excerpt from Greg Quinlan’s statement: “Why have gay activists instigated media attention over ex-gays and the husband of Presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann?
Apparently, Mr. Bachmann, who has a PhD in clinical psychology, operates several counseling centers which also offer services to homosexual clients seeking to overcome unwanted same-sex attractions. But because even one ex-gay proves that homosexual behavior is not innate or immutable, the gay lobby’s fear of their former members results in false claims and attacks aimed at preventing homosexuals from exercising their right to self-determination. They cannot bear to have even one homosexual leave homosexuality, hence their outrage at Dr. Bachmann.
I know because I am ex-gay myself. I suffer more harassment as a former homosexual than I ever did as an out and proud homosexual. (more…)

Excerpts from the MassResistance article: – “It was arguably the biggest sell-out in modern American political history. A group of ‘pro-family’ Republican Senators who already had the power to stop ‘gay marriage’ in New York decided to take the easy route, and simply stepped back and gave in to their opponents.” (more…)

Excerpt from Andrea’s blog: “Earlier this week I attended and spoke at the Core Issues conference in Belfast. The event explored issues surrounding homosexuality with a particular focus on reparative therapy, which helps those with unwanted feelings of same-sex attraction.” …
“My turn came to speak in the evening. A group of about 50 homosexual rights activists who had picketed the event were invited in to hear my talk. It wasn’t long before some of them voiced their disapproval and I had to quickly adapt my material in response to the chorus of jeers and heckles.” (more…)

Gay activist Patrick Strudwick posed as a man with unwanted same-sex attractions in an effort to smear a Christian counselor and reparative therapy. “In 2009, Mr. Strudwick pretended to be a Christian individual who wished to undertake Reparative Therapy. He approached Mrs. Pilkington at a Christian conference pretending to want counselling for unwanted same-sex attraction. He attended two counseling sessions with Mrs. Pilkington during which he secretly recorded her. He then reported her to the BACP [British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ].” (more…)

In an article entitled “Can We Just Start Admitting That We Do Want to Indoctrinate Kids” Daniel Villarreal states what is not very often admitted – that the gay rights movement is in a culture war against religious conservatives. Villareal writes: “Why would we push anti-bullying programs or social studies classes that teach kids about the historical contributions of famous queers unless we wanted to deliberately educate children to accept queer sexuality as normal? The apparent maneuvering of gay activists has led to a Maryland public school district entertaining statements on homosexuality, one of which attacked “the right of individuals with unwanted same-sex attractions to seek therapy to overcome those attractions.” PFOX heard about the statements and has responded by presenting the school board “with peer-reviewed academic research confirming that some people have changed from homosexual to heterosexual.” The full text of PFOX’s news release follows: (more…)
