The largest ex-gay organization in the world sent a letter to the President Museveni of Uganda urging him and his country not to criminalize consensual homosexual behavior. Exodus leaders gave this counsel to Museveni, we believe that sexual crimes against children, homosexual or heterosexual, are the most serious of offenses and should be punished accordingly. Homosexual behavior in consensual relationships, however, is another matter.
The documentary Real Hope, Real Truth, Real Answers received a Storyteller Award at the 2009 Redemptive Film Festival in Virginia Beach and was the 2009 winner in the Documentary Open category at the International Youth and Christian Film Festival in the United Kingdom.
The documentaries intimate window into Exodus International and the Christian ex-gay movement continues to surprise viewers. Most are not even aware that a Christian ex-gay movement exists and are stunned to learn it has been ongoing for over thirty years.
Just a few years ago Michael Glatze was a rising leader in the gay rights movement. At 22 he was the editor of Young Gay America magazine and was paraded as a national gay role model. Then something unexpected happened. Through his own soul searching Michael Glatze developed a relationship with God that led him to reject his homosexuality. These links tell his story.

TEACHERS BE AWARE! Your dues money will be used in efforts to legitimize same-sex marriage and same-sex civil unions.
CITIZENS BE AWARE! The National Education Association is going to use its political resources to attempt to overturn state constitutional amendments and laws that limit marriage to one man and one woman.
In a carefully worded business item brought to the 2009 NEA Representative Assembly, the NEA Board of Directors put the NEA on the front line of gay political efforts to undo the will of the American people, which has consistently upheld the ideal of marriage as between one man and one woman. Focus on the Family is passing on the ministry of their Love Won Out conferences to Exodus International, the largest ex-gay organization in the world. The Love Won Out events are one day conferences on homosexuality that have been held in over fifty cites in the last decade, mostly in the United States and usually held in churches. Ex-gay activist Greg Quinlan’s concern over the hate crime bill before Congress has been picked up by Fox News. Normally the viewpoints of ex-gays are dismissed by the major news networks, so this is a big deal for the ex-gay movement. Quinlan’s concern: “Think twice America. For the sixth year in a row the NEA’s Ex-Gay Educators Caucus is sharing their ex-gay perspectives at the National Educational Association’s Representative Assembly. A new brochure by the American Psychological Association entitled “Answers to Your Questions for a Better Understanding of Sexual Orientation & Homosexuality” admits there is no gay gene according to Dr. A. Italian pop singer Giuseppe Povia sang his song “”Luca Era Gay” (Luca was once gay) at Italy’s “Festival di San Remo” in February despite protests and death threats from gay activists. Giuseppe was the winner of the festival in 2006 and his ex-gay song won second place this year. According to Roberto Marchesini, “The popularity of “Luca Era Gay” has given courage and dignity to the ex-homosexual community in Italy, who, until now, have been thoroughly intimidated by gay activists.” Full Article and Video.
